Rental Agreement and House Rules

Dear guests, to ensure a pleasant stay, we ask you to observe the following agreements:

1. Accommodation and facilities

The accommodation is provided fully furnished, including household items, bed linen and towels. From seven nights onwards, we provide fresh bed linen and towels for a change. Please arrange the timing with us.

The accommodation, rental period, number of guests, price and included services are set out in your booking confirmation. The payment and cancellation terms agreed at the time of booking apply.

2. Number of guests and use

The accommodation may only be used by the confirmed number of guests. Children and infants must also be stated. Additional overnight guests, a change of guests or subletting require our prior consent. The maximum occupancy must not be exceeded.

3. Arrival and key handover

Check-in from 3.00 pm. An earlier arrival is only possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Unless agreed otherwise, you will receive the keys at:

We do not have a permanently staffed reception. Please let us know your approximate arrival time no later than 24 hours before arrival. In the event of significant delays or an arrival after 5.00 pm, please arrange the key handover with us in good time.

4. Non-smoking accommodation and consideration for others

Smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited in all interior spaces. Please be considerate when smoking outside and dispose of cigarette ends safely.

Quiet hours apply from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am, particularly on terraces and balconies. Please avoid disruptive noise; conversations outside should be kept very quiet during this time. Parties and events are only permitted with our prior express consent.

5. Dogs

Dogs are only permitted by prior registration and confirmation. Please refer to your booking for any agreed additional costs. Please bring your own sleeping place for your pet; beds and upholstered furniture are not intended as sleeping spots for animals. Any soiling must be removed immediately and nuisance to others must be avoided.

6. Care, safety and damage

Please treat the accommodation and its furnishings with care, use appliances as intended and use water and energy sparingly. Indoor furniture must not be used outside. When leaving, windows and parasols must be closed and exterior doors secured.

Fires and candles must never be left unattended. Please observe the instructions for the barbecue and fireplace, as well as sufficient safety distances. Gas barbecues must not be operated with charcoal, and smoke detectors must not be disabled.

Any defects, damage and loss of keys must be reported to us immediately. You are liable for damage caused through your fault in accordance with the statutory provisions; normal wear and tear is excluded.

7. Departure and cleaning

On the day of departure, the accommodation must be left swept clean (please also strip the beds) and tidy by 10.00 am. A later departure requires our prior consent.

The kitchen, barbecue and any items used must be left clean. Dishes should be washed and put away; food leftovers and heavy soiling must be removed. Please take any food, empty bottles and personal belongings with you and dispose of waste separately in the containers provided.

We take care of the usual final cleaning. In the event of exceptional soiling caused through your fault, or cleaning duties not fulfilled, necessary and verifiable additional costs may be charged in accordance with the statutory requirements. The same applies to the loss of keys for which you are responsible.

Please close the windows and return all keys as agreed.

8. Serious breaches of contract

Serious or repeated breaches may, under the statutory requirements, lead to the early termination of your stay. Where necessary, a warning or a deadline to remedy the situation will be given beforehand.

9. Travel insurance

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, if appropriate supplemented by curtailment cover. Please note the respective insurance terms and deadlines for taking out cover. Our agreed cancellation terms apply regardless of your insurance cover.
